Haze NTSG
Neck-through-body for the ultimate in tone and good-looks. Luthiers and players have long understood the advantages of thru-neck instruments.
The NTSG has a rock-hard maple neck that extends all the way through the body of the guitar. There’s a good argument to make that this construction allows the guitar to resonate more cleanly and with less interference than with other methods of attaching body and neck. Certainly, the Haze NTSG sings out clearly.
The maple neck carries an ebony fingerboard and with 24 frets which—thanks to the nicely-shaped heel permitted by the neck-through construction—allows easy access all the way to the second octave. Mahogany body ‘wings’ provide the remainder of the body and bring something of their usual tone.
And that tone isn’t what you might expect. Two Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickups provide the power and buckets of vintage voice but that maple and the PRS-style scale-length keep things tight. The Haze NTSG gives a slightly contemporary edge to some decidedly classic tones.
